Premier League Accumulator Tips – 8th & 9th November 2014

With the top three all securing important wins, Chelsea, Manchester City and surprise package Southampton head into this weekend with a renewed confidence in their league form. Each of them had to fight to earn tough wins last weekend but they will all fancy their chances this weekend. It is Chelsea who have the most challenging fixture, with a tantalising trip to Anfield in store for them in the early game on Saturday. Meanwhile, Arsenal face Swansea, and Southampton are playing at home to Leicester.

This week we have an Easy Winner acca at evens, a Medium Risk at 6/1 and a Long Shot at 89/1 for you to get your teeth into so see what you make of them.

Easy Winner – evens (Bet365)

  • Southampton v Leicester, Southampton to win (4/9) – The Saints are the form team in the league at the moment and a home game against Leicester looks like another three points for Koeman and co. Southampton are 4/9 which is a fair price in our eyes.
  • Manchester United v Crystal Palace, United to win (1/3) – United might seem wildly inconsistent but actually it’s largely their away form letting them down. A home game against Palace will be a great game for United to try and forget about their derby day loss. They’re 1/3 to win with Bet365.
  • Tottenham v Stoke, Tottenham to win (draw no bet) (2/9) – Spurs came through a tougher game than they might have expected against Villa. They left with three points, and should have enough about them to get the better of Stoke. To play it a little safer, Tottenham, draw no bet is 2/9.

Medium Risk – 6/1 (Sky Bet)

  • Liverpool v Chelsea, Chelsea to win (23/20) – Liverpool’s league form is patchy to say the least and Chelsea look good to take advantage. Liverpool are coming off a much tougher Champions League fixture in midweek, and Chelsea to win at 23/20 is great value.
  • West Ham v Villa, West Ham to win (4/5) – Big Sam’s West Ham are playing excellent football at the moment and are one of the league’s form sides. A home win for the Hammers at 4/5 is a bet begging to be placed.
  • Burnley v Hull, under 2.5 goals (8/11) – Burnley really lack Premier League quality in attacking areas and Hull haven’t scored in their last two league games. A low scoring game at 8/11 is where the value lies in this game.

Long Shot – 89/1 (Bet365)

  • Sergio Aguero to score first (3/1) – Aguero scored the only goal in the Manchester derby last weekend, and is in deadly form. Facing QPR has been a good omen in the past; his most important goal in a City shirt came against them to win City the title a few years back. The Argentine is 3/1 to score first in this match.
  • Alexis Sanchez to score first (5/1) – Is Sanchez the best player in the league right now? He is certainly right up there, and will fancy his chances to bag the first goal when Arsenal visit Swansea at 5/1.
  • Nacer Chadli to score anytime (11/4) – After showing good flashes of talent last year, Chadli has been a real boost for Tottenham this year. His goalscoring form has been vital for Spurs, and he’s 11/4 to score anytime when they face Stoke at White Hart Lane.
