Football Accumulator Tips – 5th to 6th December 2017

The last round of matches in the Champions League group stages are always a combination of dead rubbers and some of the most important games of teams’ seasons. Whether there’s nothing or everything on the line, each match provides us with an opportunity for profit. That’s why we’ve come up with three trebles of increasing odds for the coming midweek action.

Short Price – 13/8 (BetVictor)

  • Man Utd to beat CSKA Moscow (4/11) – Man Utd are all but through to the knockout stages but Jose Mourinho will still be targeting three points to win Group A. That should be relatively easy against the team they beat 4-1 in Russia.
  • Roma to beat Qarabag to nil (4/7) – All Roma need to do to qualify is to beat Qarabag at the Stadio Olimpico. The Azerbaijani team secured two draws against Atletico but the Giallorossi will surely have far too much about them.
  • Napoli to beat Feyenoord (2/9) – Napoli are three points off Shakhtar but they know a win over Feyenoord and a Man City win in Ukraine will see them through to the round of 16. They should at least uphold their end of the bargain by seeing off this sorry Feyenoord side.

Medium Risk – 8/1 (Ladbrokes)

  • Both teams to score in Bayern Munich v PSG (4/9) – PSG’s performances in the Champions League have been so impressive that they’ve become many people’s favourites to win the whole thing. Bayern Munich will go all out to beat the Parisians but stopping Unai Emery’s team from scoring is beyond everyone so far.
  • RB Leipzig to beat Besiktas and both teams to score (19/10) – Besiktas made a mockery of the early betting to win Group G with a game to spare. They should lose against RB Leipzig who need a win to have any chance of continuing in the competition but don’t be surprised if the Turkish side score.
  • Over 3.5 goals in Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund (11/10) – Borussia Dortmund have been very poor this season but you can’t fault their entertainment levels. With nothing to lose, the Bundesliga side can help ensure this is an end to end game against a Real Madrid team who are working hard to get back to their best.

Long Shot – 60/1 (Bet365)

  • Chelsea to beat Atletico Madrid to nil (12/5) – Chelsea had to come from behind to beat Atletico Madrid in the Wanda Metropolitano. With Atletico’s hopes of reaching the knockout stages all but over, the return game could be a lot more straightforward for the Blues.
  • Both teams to score in the second half of Liverpool v Spartak Moscow (9/4) – Liverpool’s horror show in the second half against Sevilla last time out means they still need to confirm their qualification. Spartak Moscow can also get out of the group so expect some late fireworks at Anfield.
  • Man City to beat Shakhtar Donetsk and both teams to score (9/2) – Shakhtar Donetsk can qualify for the next round with a win over Man City so they’ll push on for a big result on Wednesday night. The problem is that will open up the space for Man City to exploit and Pep Guardiola’s men should come through an entertaining game.
