Football Accumulator Tips – 3rd to 5th April 2018

The Champions League and Europa League return this week with some mouth-watering ties in prospect. We’ve made it down to the final eight teams in both competitions and despite the amount of tension that comes with such big fixtures, the quality of the clubs remaining should provide some hugely entertaining encounters. To make the most of all the action ahead of us, we’ve put together three trebles of increasing odds which will hopefully provide some profit from the European matches.

Short Price – 11/10 (Ladbrokes)

  • Over 1.5 goals in Liverpool v Man City (2/9) – This is perhaps the most exciting possible draw of all five Premier League teams who qualified for the Champions League this season. The two league matches involving Liverpool and Man City produced 12 goals and we’re expecting more goalmouth action on Wednesday.
  • Barcelona to beat Roma (1/4) – Barcelona are the favourites to win the Champions League and will be quietly delighted to be drawn against Roma. They still have to make the most of their home leg and we think they’ll have little trouble doing just that.
  • Arsenal to beat CSKA Moscow (4/11) – Arsenal simply must capitalise on their home match against CSKA Moscow. The return trip to the Russian capital will be far from easy so expect the Gunners to push for a big win on Thursday night.

Medium Risk – 8/1 (BetVictor)

  • Both teams to score in Juventus v Real Madrid (4/5) – Real Madrid utilised all their European experience to make it past PSG and they’ll need all that nous to navigate a path past Juventus. Juve are very strong at home but they may struggle to stop the defending champions from scoring.
  • Liverpool to beat Man City (9/5) – With their Premier League win at Anfield in January, Liverpool showed that the way to beat this Man City side is to take the game to them. Liverpool could secure another win over Pep Guardiola’s men in the first leg of their Champions League encounter.
  • RB Leipzig to beat Marseille (4/5) – RB Leipzig have attacked their first taste of European football with gusto. They were knocked out of the Champions League but should do their chances of qualifying for the Europa League semi finals the power of good by beating Marseille at home.

Long Shot – 62/1 (Bet365)

  • Sevilla and Bayern Munich to draw (3/1) – Sevilla have won each of their last three matches at home to German opposition. Maintaining that record will be incredibly tough against this Bayern Munich side but the draw does look like good value at 3/1.
  • Juventus and Real Madrid to draw and both teams to score (7/2) – Real Madrid will surely need to score at the Allianz Stadium to avoid defeat in the first leg. Fortunately, Zinedine Zidane has plenty of world class attacking talent at his disposal. Winning may be beyond Real away to Juventus but a draw and a goal or two would be a good result.
  • Lazio and FC Salzburg to draw (5/2) – FC Salzburg upset the odds to come through their tie against Borussia Dortmund last time out. They’ll be full of confidence and could grab another surprise result by drawing with Lazio in the Italian capital.
