While leagues around Europe are taking a break for the winter, things are only getting more frantic in the Premier League. The chasing pack at the top of the table need something extraordinary to happen to have any chance of reeling in Man City. At the other end there are perhaps 10 sides who could conceivably be relegated come May.
With another weekend of drama about to unfold, allow us to take the work out of your betting research. We’ve created three trebles for you to choose from below depending on what level of risk you fancy.
Short Price – 7/4 (Betfred)
- Over 1.5 goals in Arsenal v Liverpool (1/6) – Both Arsenal and Liverpool have a real chance of winning this exciting clash at the Emirates. While the result could go either way there’s little doubt that we’ll see plenty of goalmouth action.
- Under 3.5 goals in West Ham v Newcastle (1/4) – Newcastle have lost a staggering eight of their last nine games. The Magpies won’t give up though and they’ll provide stubborn opposition for David Moyes’ improving West Ham team.
- Both teams to score in Stoke v West Brom (9/10) – The way things are going, both Stoke and West Brom are set for a lengthy battle against relegation. This would be a massive three points for either side so expect them both to go for the win and to get on the score sheet.
Medium Risk – 11/1 (Coral)
- Southampton and Huddersfield to draw (11/4) – Huddersfield secured a surprise away win against Watford last weekend. That will give David Wagner’s side confidence, something which is badly lacking at Southampton. The Terriers may not win at St Mary’s but they can certainly do enough to secure a point.
- Both teams to score in Leicester v Man Utd (5/6) – A home game against Man Utd could be just what Leicester need to get over last weekend’s defeat against Crystal Palace. The Foxes will come out flying and even if they concede more than once they should be able to breach the United defence.
- Under 2.5 goals in Burnley v Tottenham (4/5) – Burnley are becoming the Premier League’s 1-0 specialists. The Clarets are very tough to score against and are rarely out of a game so expect them to make life difficult for Tottenham at Turf Moor.
Long Shot – 102/1 (BetVictor)
- Liverpool to beat Arsenal and both teams to score (10/3) – Liverpool were full value for their 4-0 win over Arsenal at Anfield. The Gunners should score at the Emirates in the return fixture but that far from guarantees a positive result against Jurgen Klopp’s entertaining side.
- West Ham to beat Newcastle to nil (12/5) – West Ham are playing much better of late and will be confident of another three points against Newcastle. A lack of goals is the Magpies’ big problem and it could cost them once again at the London Stadium.
- Burnley to beat Tottenham (6/1) – 6/1 is always an eye catching price about a Premier League team winning at home. It’s especially surprising given Burnley’s form and Tottenham’s inconsistency. The Clarets are a match for anybody at the moment so make the most of the price while it lasts.
