Football Accumulator Tips – 16th to 18th December 2017

Premier League managers have a love/hate relationship with this part of the season. They love the fact there is always another game even to put things right but hate the lack of time they have on the training ground. With tired legs, frazzled heads and some desperate clubs, it’s only good news for fans around Christmas. With so many betting opportunities, we’ve given you three betting options with our football accumulator tips.

Short Price – 2/1 (Coral)

  • Arsenal to beat Newcastle (3/10) – We know Arsenal are an unpredictable side but there’s nothing unpredictable about Newcastle at the moment. The Magpies are struggling and will surely suffer another defeat at the Emirates.
  • Over 1.5 goals in Watford v Huddersfield (1/3) – Watford are the Premier League’s entertainers this season. It’s not always gone to plan at Vicarage Road but it’s never boring so we expect plenty of goals when Huddersfield visit on Saturday.
  • Everton to beat Swansea (8/11) – If Everton are to distance themselves from the bottom three still further they’ll have to beat the sides in the relegation zone. Swansea are in big trouble and will find Sam Allardyce’s team in no mood to gift anything on Monday night.

Medium Risk – 11/1 (Ladbrokes)

  • Stoke and West Ham to draw (11/5) – Stoke and West Ham need to move away from the foot of the table as quickly as possible. Three points at the Bet365 Stadium would be huge for either team but they may just have to settle for a point apiece.
  • Over 2.5 goals in Man City v Tottenham (1/2) – Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino are two of the most highly regarded managers in world football. They’ve become so coveted because they leave their players in no doubt what is expected of them. Even their attacking is structured and it’s produce plenty of goals this season so expect more of the same at the Etihad.
  • Over 3.5 goals in Bournemouth v Liverpool (6/4) – Bournemouth have been hit and miss this season but they’ve been among the goals recently and will fancy an upset against Liverpool. Whatever the final score, expect plenty of goalmouth action early on Sunday evening.

Long Shot – 72/1 (Betfred)

  • Leicester to beat Crystal Palace to nil (11/5) – Crystal Palace could well find it hard to get going for their early afternoon kick off at the King Power Stadium. Motivation is no problem for Leicester at the moment and the Foxes are good value to secure a comfortable win.
  • 1-1 correct score in Stoke v West Ham (11/2) – The run until the end of the season could be pivotal in the careers of Mark Hughes and David Moyes. Both men will be feeling the pressure and they’ll be happy enough with a low scoring draw on Saturday.
  • Chelsea to win and score under 2.5 goals against Southampton (5/2) – With Chelsea out of the title race, Antonio Conte may be happy enough to coast through until the end of the domestic season. The Blues are still a good side and should beat Southampton but don’t expect them to go the extra mile for a big win.
