It’s been one hell of a season, but all good things must come to an end and this weekend sees the final round of Premier League fixtures and with it comes our last chance to pick out some winning accumulator bets on the best league in the world. Read on for our low, medium and high risk acca tips as we try to make you a tidy profit this Sunday.
Easy Winner – 5/2 (BetVictor)
- Arsenal to beat Norwich (20/23) – Arsenal have found real form in the Premier League of late with four wins on the bounce and they will have far too much for a Norwich side who are bound for the Championship.
- Man City to beat West Ham (1/8) – Manuel Pellegrini’s men are too close to the title to give it up now and we think they will steamroller West Ham on the final day given Big Sam’s men have nothing much to play for.
- Liverpool to beat Newcastle (2/11) – Liverpool might have blown their title chances but they will still want to put on a big performance in front of their fans at Anfield on Sunday. Newcastle, meanwhile, have been exceptionally bad for the last couple of months and this result is more nailed on than any this weekend.
Medium Risk – 15/1 (Coral)
- Southampton v Man United: over 2.5 goals (4/6) – Both these sides will be looking to finish the season on a positive note and with the likes of Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie likely to feature, we think there will be plenty of goals, making backing over 2.5 of them look a great option.
- Hull v Everton: over 3.5 goals (7/4) – Hull will have one eye on their upcoming FA Cup final against Arsenal, but their two main strikers (who are both cup tied) will feature here and we fancy an open game with plenty of goals as both sides look to end the season with a final victory.
- Stoke to win at West Brom (12/5) – Mark Hughes will be determined to get the three points here that will assure his side of a top half finish, and with the Baggies already safe we think the home team’s resistance will be minimal.
Long Shot – 225/1 (Bet365)
- Crystal Palace to be winning at half time and full time at Fulham (10/3) – Palace have performed exceptionally well under Tony Pulis this season, as exemplified by them coming back from 3-0 down against Liverpool on Monday to earn a point. We think they will be far too strong for a Fulham side who will struggle to compete in the Championship next season.
- Liverpool to beat Newcastle by a three goal margin (15/4) – As mentioned, Newcastle have been very poor of late, and after Liverpool threw away a three-goal lead on Monday night against Crystal Palace they will be looking to make amends here. It almost certainly won’t be enough to win them the league title, but it will at least give the fans something to cheer about.
- Aston to beat Tottenham and both teams to score (10/1) – Villa have been shockingly erratic this season having beaten Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal but then losing to Fulham (twice!). We think – now they are safe – they might just have one more big performance in them, and given Spurs have lost at home to West Ham and Newcastle already this season we think the Villains could steal the show here and land us this big-money acca.
