Football Accumulator Tips (3rd, 4th & 5th May 2014)

Easy Winner – 13/2 (BetVictor)

Man United v Sunderland: Man United to win (4/11) – Ryan Giggs has only been in charge for one match since David Moyes was shown the door, but the players looked like they wanted to play for him and promptly beat Norwich 4-0. With Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata looking sharp, we think the Red Devils will have too much for Sunderland here.
Arsenal v West Brom: Both Teams to Score (17/10) – Arsenal are in pole position to claim fourth and we fancy they will have more than enough to win this match, but the Baggies have scored away from home against Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Man City and Spurs, and we think – given their current precarious situation – they will be on the attack here and will be able to muster at least one goal.
Chelsea v Norwich: Chelsea to win to nil (21/20) – Norwich have struggled to score goals all season, and they are likely to pay for their lack of goalscoring prowess by being relegated. Not before Chelsea rub their noses in it at Stamford Bridge though.

Stoke v Fulham: Draw (12/5) – Stoke are safe and are fighting for a top half finish, but Fulham are battling for their Premier League survival and we fancy they will have enough to get a point at the Britannia as the home side’s urgency drops off somewhat.
Aston Villa v Hull: Draw Half Time / Hull Full Time (6/1) – Villa are in serious trouble and Paul Lambert will ask his players to go back to basics and keep things as tight as possible here. Unfortunately for Villa fans we feel such a tactic will only work for half the match and we fancy Hull to edge it with a late goal.
Newcastle v Cardiff: Cardiff to win (3/1) – Cardiff are almost down, but we fancy they’ve got one last big result in them. Given Newcastle players appear to have already gone on their holidays (in their minds at least) we think the Bluebirds will be the ones singing at the end of this one.

Man United v Sunderland: Connor Wickham to score first (8/1) – We think United will win this, but Wickham has been in fine form and we fancy he could nick an early goal to give the home side a scare (though not enough for them to wish for a return from Moyes).
Chelsea v Norwich: Chelsea to win 5-0 (25/1) – Norwich are doomed to be playing in the Championship next season, and we feel Chelsea will have enough to make the Canaries’ final away match a torrid affair.
Swansea v Southampton: Rickie Lambert to score first (11/2) – In the absence of Jay Rodriguez, Lambert is the Saints’ main man, and with a place on the plane to Brazil at stake we fancy a big performance from him here as he terrorises the Swans’ defence and fires his team into the lead.
