Both Teams To Score (BTTS) Tips – 5th to 7th May 2017

Last weekend was certainly a poor one for both teams and last Saturday was the first one in Premier League history on which a home side failed to score.

This week however, we expect there to be plenty of goals as we enter the crunch stage of the top flight. Read on to see who makes the cut for this week’s tips.

Friday 5th May 2017

  • West Ham v Tottenham Hotspur (8/11 with Sky Bet) – West Ham have had a fairly poor record lately, but in a derby game like this, form goes out of the window. Spurs have been solid at the back but we think that they will concede against the Hammers in this one which should be an entertaining game.

Saturday 6th May 2017

  • Manchester City v Crystal Palace (7/10 with Bet365) – Manchester City have come unstuck a few times this season and you wouldn’t bet against Palace upsetting the odds at the Etihad. The Eagles have scored quite a few goals lately and we like the look of both sides to score in this one.
  • Bournemouth v Stoke City (4/7 with Sky Bet) – Neither of these teams has anything to play for and we think that that will allow both sides to play with a bit of freedom. The Cherries have conceded a lot of goals this season but they also have the best goalscoring record outside of the top six.
  • Barcelona v Villarreal (4/5 with Coral) – Barcelona can ill afford a slip up if they are to secure the league title and this match against Villarreal is by no means an easy one. The Yellow Submarine are more than capable of springing a surprise or two on their day and this match has seen both sides score in five of the last six meetings.
  • Swansea City v Everton (4/6 with Bet365) – Swansea need to go for it if they are to avoid the drop this season and we think that they will be able to find the net against an Everton side who conceded three last weekend. However, Swansea are where they are for a reason and Everton will expect to get three points from this.

Sunday 7th May 2017

  • Liverpool v Southampton (8/11 with Betfred) – Liverpool are a side that always have goals in them and we fancy their chances of scoring against Southampton on Sunday. However, you’re never fully confident about Liverpool’s back four and it wouldn’t be a surprise if both teams scored at Anfield.
  • Arsenal v Manchester United (4/6 with Bet365) – Arsenal v Manchester United is another match which has a history of seeing both sides hit the back of the net and we think that this match will be no different. Both outfits need a win if they are to keep pace with the top four and this should be a thrilling encounter.
