The Premier League returns to action this weekend, signalling the start of the run-in, with plenty still to play for. The top flight has a lot going on in the final stages of the campaign, with the top four race still open and the relegation battle raging on. The picture at the top and bottom of the league still isn’t quite clear yet, but we expect to know a little more after the next round of matches is over. With some big games to come, we’re hoping for an entertaining round of clashes across the country.
The Premier League restarts after the international break with an early game at Selhurst Park on Saturday, as Liverpool go in search of second place. Man City are aiming to move a step closer to the title in the late game at Everton, while the tie of the round is the Champions League decider between Chelsea and Tottenham. With all that and more to come this weekend, we’ve gone through the upcoming fixtures and picked out some both teams to score tips, which you can see below.
Saturday 31st March 2018
- Crystal Palace v Liverpool (8/11 with Betfred) – Liverpool secured a 5-0 win over Watford in the last round of games before the break, and they take that scoring record on the road here. While the Reds are likely to continue their form, they have conceded 71% of their goals away, so we see Palace getting on the scoresheet this weekend.
- Brighton v Leicester (10/11 with Coral) – While Leicester’s attacking threat is well known, they’re likely to struggle at the back when they head to Brighton. The Foxes have kept a clean sheet in just 13% of their trips so far, and they face a Seagulls outfit who have won three on the spin at home, conceding in each.
- West Ham v Southampton (20/23 with Coral) – West Ham could have another rocky afternoon at the Olympic Stadium this weekend, as Southampton are the visitors. Mark Hughes made them look more attacking in his first game in charge, while they’ve seen both teams score in four of their last five on the road in the league.
- Everton v Man City (17/20 with BetVictor) – Man City are likely to continue their push for the title with a win at Everton, but the Toffees have racked up a three game winning streak at home. They’ve scored 11 times in their last six at home to City too, so we’re going with BTTS in this clash.

- Chelsea v Tottenham (4/5 with Betfair) – The weekend’s big game sees Chelsea coming into this one in good goalscoring form. They have averaged 1.73 goals per game at their own ground this term, but they’ve kept just one clean sheet in six meetings with the top four so far. BTTS has landed in four of the last five between these two, and we’re backing it to come good once again.
