The Champions League is back this week, with some huge games across Europe for us to keep an eye on. We can enjoy some major clashes in the Europa League too, which has also hit the last eight stage. While there can be a lot of jeopardy-free games to start with in this competition, at this point you simply can’t argue with the stakes. We expect to see some heavyweight displays from the very best in Europe, especially with games like Juventus against Real Madrid and Man City heading to Liverpool.
With the European competitions hitting the business end, we expect some big attacking displays. We tune in to these huge European contests for attacking action and to see the world’s greatest forwards, and we should get a strong round of action across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a result, we see a high scoring week of fixtures, given the matches on offer. - Juventus v Real Madrid (20/23 with Ladbrokes) – Juventus may be defensively solid in Italy, but the fact that BTTS landed in their two meetings with Tottenham make us back it in their clash with a defensively weak Real outfit.
- Sevilla v Bayern Munich (3/4 with Bet365) – Sevilla held on against the barely present threat from Man United, but the Spaniards can attack too. They drew 2-2 and 3-3 with Liverpool in the group, and they’ve scored in all but one of their 10 European games this term, so BTTS looks good here.

- Liverpool v Man City (8/15 with Betfred) – Given the quality of these two attacks, backing goals here isn’t a huge surprise. Liverpool have won five straight home meetings with City, while the visitors have scored in every European game this term.
- Barcelona v Roma (Evens with Coral) – Roma have shown their ability on the biggest stage this season, especially in their thrilling 3-3 draw with Chelsea. The Giallorossi have been great in their away matches in Serie A, and we can see them posing a threat to a Barcelona side who haven’t really been tested at the back in Europe so far this term.

- Leipzig v Marseille (7/10 with BetVictor) – Leipzig are impressive going forward, but their European inexperience has shown at the back this term. Marseille have some strong attacking talent, and they should take advantage.
- Lazio v Salzburg (4/5 with Coral) – Lazio are among the favourites for the competition, and it’s not hard to see why with their attacking talent. However, a poor defensive record has plagued them of late, so we see both teams scoring when these two clash on Thursday.
