Both Teams To Score (BTTS) Tips – 27th & 28th January 2018

The FA Cup is back, and it is back without one of the bigger names in terms of the tournament’s history after Arsenal were dumped out by Nottingham Forest in the third round of the famous old competition.

There are a couple of Premier League sides who could well fall in the fourth round and there should be some cracking ties being played out. West Ham’s trip to Wigan looks the most interesting on paper and that is just one of the matches to feature in our both teams to score tips for the weekend.

Saturday 27th January 2018

  • Peterborough v Leicester City (4/5 with Betfair) – Leicester City have traditionally been good value for both teams to score bets and we can see both goalkeepers being busy at London Road. Peterborough shocked Aston Villa in the previous round and they will be hoping to repeat their giantkilling antics.
  • Huddersfield Town v Birmingham City (5/4 with Betfair) – A fairly unglamorous tie sees Birmingham travel to the John Smiths Stadium but we fancy there to be goals aplenty. Birmingham have seen an upturn in form of late and they could trouble David Wagner’s side in West Yorkshire.
  • Notts County v Swansea City (Evens with Betfair) – Notts County are in a promotion race in League 2 but this clash with Swansea City could be a big game for County. The home side have scored plenty of goals this season and we like the look of BTTS in this match.
  • Newport County v Tottenham Hotspur (6/5 with Betfair) – Another League 2 side taking on a Premier League outfit is Newport County and after beating Leeds United in the third round, they will be hoping for a repeat result. Spurs will almost certainly find the back of the net, but we would be surprised if they come away from Rodney Parade.
  • Wigan Athletic v West Ham (4/5 with Bet365) – West Ham have a real potential banana skin this weekend as they travel to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic. The Latics battered Bournemouth 3-0 in a third round replay and they could come up with another shock in front of the TV cameras this weekend.

Sunday 28th January 2018

  • Chelsea v Newcastle United (Evens with Betfair) – Both sides hit the back of the net when these two sides last met at Stamford Bridge and we can’t see there being a clean sheet in this one. Both sides perhaps have bigger priorities than the cup, but Chelsea can ill afford what would be a slightly embarrassing defeat against a struggling Newcastle side.
  • Cardiff City v Manchester City (10/11 with Ladbrokes) – Manchester City have struggled a bit when they have played against lower league opposition in the cups this year and this trip to South Wales won’t be easy. Neil Warnock would like nothing more than to put Pep Guardiola in his place and see his Cardiff side in the hat for the fifth round so expect the home side to have a proper go at the visitors.
