With FA Cup matches taking priority at the weekend, the Premier League has been pushed back to midweek and there could be some exciting clashes under the lights.
The pick of the action takes place at Wembley on Wednesday as Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur. In a real top of the table clash, there should be plenty of goals in the capital, but we have also picked out six other fixtures where we are backing it to be raining goals.
Tuesday 30th January 2018
- Swansea City v Arsenal (10/11 with Betfred) – After Liverpool slipped up at the Liberty Stadium, Arsenal will be very wary ahead of this trip to South Wales. The Gunners should have enough about them to score, but they have struggled on the road at times this season so we can see them conceding too.
- Huddersfield Town v Liverpool (11/10 with Betfred) – Liverpool are sometimes sloppy on the road and they will be desperate to bounce back from defeat against Swansea. The visitors could well find the back of the net, but don’t be surprised if Huddersfield spring a surprise.
- Hull City v Leeds United (9/10 with Betfair) – Hull City have seen 79% of their home Championship matches end with both sides scoring and we fancy both keepers to be busy in this match. United won 1-0 when the teams last met, but that game could’ve finished any score in truth.
- Burton Albion v Reading (Evens with Bet365) – Burton Albion have seen around two-thirds of their home league games feature both sides scoring. Reading are the visitors to the Pirelli this Tuesday and it should be a decent clash. The Brewers haven’t got a great home record, but will see this as a great chance to turn that around.

- Everton v Leicester City (10/11 with Coral) – Leicester City have the highest BTTS percentage on the road in the Premier League this season and we think that it will be a busy night for the keepers. Both teams are likely to push for the three points at Goodison Park and there could be some good football on show.
- Chelsea v Bournemouth (Evens with Betfred) – Chelsea appear to be in disarray at the minute and Bournemouth will look to take full advantage. The Cherries recently beat Arsenal and they have enough about them to cause Chelsea problems. The home side should win, but Bournemouth certainly won’t make things easy for them.
- Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United (5/6 with Coral) – Both sides have plenty of goals in them and it could be a highly entertaining game of football at Wembley. Both Tottenham and Manchester United are slugging it out to reach the top four and a win here could go a long way in helping the victorious side do just that. After spending a good few years at Arsenal, Alexis Sanchez will be looking to break Spurs’ fans hearts once again.
