Both Teams To Score (BTTS) Tips – 20th and 21st January 2018

After the FA Cup replays in midweek, focus returns to the Premier League action this weekend. We’ve got a busy Saturday of action, before all sides are back in midweek league action soon after. However, before we get to that there are some great-looking games in prospect. With a few of the top sides reeling going into this round of matches, there’s plenty on the line. On top of that we’ve got a competitive relegation battle, so the Premier League campaign isn’t over by any means.

Man City may be coming off the back of their first defeat of the season, but it’s Arsenal who are the crisis club. Their loss to Bournemouth in turn shook up the battle at the bottom, alongside good results for Crystal Palace and West Ham. Those three have all spent time in the drop zone this term, but now they’re on the march. All of those sides are out to build on their good form this weekend, but there are plenty of sides below them who are desperate in their battle for survival. Ahead of this weekend’s matches, we have a round of both teams to score tips, with some really interesting games in prospect.

Saturday 20th January 2018

  • Arsenal v Crystal Palace (4/6 with Betfair) – Arsenal have had a tough start to 2018, and things could be about to get even worse for them. They face a Palace side who have been in excellent scoring form of late, and we’re backing the Eagles to find the net for a fourth straight away game.
  • Burnley v Man United (6/5 with Ladbrokes) – After a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford last month, United are in for a tough test at Turf Moor. The hosts have been the bogey team for most of the top six, and we’re backing BTTS when they meet this weekend.
  • Leicester v Watford (8/11 with Betfred) – Watford are coming off a high scoring clash at City, with six of their last seven seeing both teams score The Foxes have midweek action taking a toll on their legs, so we can see both teams getting at least one goal here.
  • Stoke v Huddersfield (21/20 with Coral) – Stoke have an awful defensive record this term, conceding in all but one of their home matches. Huddersfield should add to that, but the Terriers have conceded in 82% of their away trips.
  • West Ham v Bournemouth (4/5 with Ladbrokes) – West Ham have seen both teams score in five straight league games, while Bournemouth have conceded in their last 10. Neither of these two defences are exactly solid, so we think there’s value in going with BTTS in this one.

Sunday 21st January 2018

  • Southampton v Tottenham (10/11 with Betfred) – Could we see a repeat of Spurs’ 5-2 win over the Saints at Wembley last month? Given that the hosts have seen BTTS land in their last five at home, we can at least expect a high scoring affair.
