The football action just keeps on coming and we have a full round of fixtures to enjoy from both the Premier League and the Football League this weekend.
The pick of the action comes on Saturday evening as Arsenal take on Manchester United in front of the BT Sport cameras at the Emirates. That game is just one of seven matches in which we think goals will be almost as likely as managers whining about fixture congestion.
Friday 1st December 2017
- Leeds United v Aston Villa (5/6 with Bet365) – Friday’s televised Championship clash should be a good one as Aston Villa head to Elland Road. The Whites have seen a mini revival having won two of their last three games. Indeed, two of their last three matches have also finished without a clean sheet. But we predict goals in this one.
Saturday 2nd December 2017
- Brighton and Hove Albion v Liverpool (10/11 with Betfred) – Liverpool have an excellent defensive record in front of their own fans, but look a little shakier on the road. They should have no problem beating Brighton but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Seagulls grab a goal.
- Everton v Huddersfield Town (4/5 with Bet365) – Everton have been involved in plenty of high scoring matches lately and we think that this one will be another as they welcome Huddersfield Town to Goodison Park. Both sides are struggling for form and three points here would be massive.
- Leicester City v Burnley (11/10 with Coral) – Burnley, are another side who have an impressive defensive record at home but are a bit more brittle on the road. They face a Leicester City side who have started to score plenty, but still haven’t tightened up at the back, so goals look likely at the King Power.
- Brentford v Fulham (8/15 with Betair) – It is two west London derbies in a row for Brentford and if it goes anything like their meeting with QPR did fans will be in for a treat (if they stay until the end!). Fulham and Brentford often see both sides score and this could be a tasty battle in the west of the capital.
- Watford v Tottenham Hotspur (7/10 with Bet365) – Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to get a win under their belts after losing in disappointing fashion to Leicester during the week. The Hornets know where the back of the net is, but will they be able to stop Harry Kane given the form he is in?
- Arsenal v Manchester United (7/10 with Bet365) – The big game looks set to be a cracker and there will surely be goals aplenty when Arsenal and Manchester United meet. The Gunners have hit a good patch of form at the minute and they do have goals in their side. They prepare to face a United team who also know where the net is having bagged 10 goals over their last three Premier League matches.
