Both Teams To Score (BTTS) Tips – 18th, 19th, 20th November 2017

With the Premier League returning to our screens, those long weekends without domestic football are a thing of the past. This weekend may have seemed a little empty, but that was the final international break of the year. With no more until March, there’s now a free path for the top flight to blaze ahead into Spring. That starts this weekend, with the north London derby opening up this round of Premier League fixtures, which isn’t a bad way to get back into the swing of things!

Of course, there’s plenty of Premier League action going on around the country, spread right across the weekend. We see it as the perfect time for a both teams to score accumulator, with so many matches to choose from. With games running between Saturday and Monday, including four live matches, we’ve run through all of this weekend’s fixtures and found the best ones to go in our BTTS accumulator. You can see our six predictions below, alongside our reasoning for each.

Saturday 18th November 2017

  • Arsenal v Tottenham (10/21 with Betfair) – This north London derby should be a close affair, with the last three meetings here finishing 1-1. Given that both teams have scored in four of the last five encounters, we think it’s worth backing BTTS here.
  • Crystal Palace v Everton (19/20 with bet365) – Palace may look doomed, but they’re starting to pick up at home. Four goals in two games has shown signs of a fightback from the Eagles, although they’ve still conceded in every game this season. Everton have conceded in 10 straight matches, so we’re backing both teams to score in this one.
  • Leicester v Man City (3/4 with Betfair) – Manchester City are leaking the odd goal, while marching on regardless. They have a 100% record at home, and the Citizens should add to that with a goal or three here. However, Leicester have scored in every home game this season, and we expect them to continue that form on Saturday.
  • Liverpool v Southampton (10/11 with Betfred) – Liverpool’s defence is showing some signs of improvement, but Southampton have scored in four of their last five trips here. The Saints have scored in their last three away games, and we’re backing BTTS here.

Sunday 19th November 2017

  • Watford v West Ham (7/10 with Ladbrokes) – West Ham’s poor form is unlikely to be fixed by David Moyes, and the Hammers have conceded in five of their last six games. We expect Watford to take advantage of that, but the Hornets have shipped 2.2 goals per game at home this season.

Monday 20th November 2017

  • Brighton v Stoke (evens with Coral) – Brighton head into this game having scored and conceded exactly once per game this season. The Seagulls have scored the majority of those at home, while they’ve seen both teams score in three of their last four at home. We’re backing BTTS once again here, with Stoke scoring in four straight away trips.
