There is just one last round of games as sides look to wrap up a spot at the World Cup next year. The second legs of the six remaining play-offs get under way from Sunday, while there are plenty more international clashes around Europe. There are some top sides preparing for the tournament having already booked their place, making their friendly matches even more important ahead of Russia in the summer. Tuesday’s friendlies feature some massive matches, including England facing Brazil and reigning world champions Germany hosting France. There’s also a clash between tournament hosts Russia and 2010 champions Spain, while the United States face European champions Portugal. - Switzerland v Northern Ireland (11/8 with Bet365) – The Northern Irish have a mountain to climb ahead of this second leg, after losing 1-0. They need to go for broke in this second leg, they can’t afford to be as cautious as they were at home. We expect a more open game, especially as the Swiss have a dilemma over their approach. That has us backing BTTS here at huge odds.
- Greece v Croatia (17/20 with Coral) – Croatia had a heavy win in the first leg, which should see them through. The Greeks should have a more positive approach from the outset here, and we can see them adding to their away goal. We’re backing BTTS in this one.

- Russia v Spain (4/5 with Betfred) – Spain have a poor recent record in friendlies, having conceded twice to England and Colombia of late, while they lost 1-0 to Georgia. Russia have scored in seven of their last eight non-competitive games, so we’re backing BTTS.
- Germany v France (8/11 with Bet365) – The current world champions have a breathtaking attack, probably only matched by the talent of France. The pair have conceded their fair share of goals lately, and we can see both sides getting a goal.
- Portugal v USA (11/13 with Coral) – The USA are starting their rebuild after missing out on the World Cup, and they’ll be looking to make an impression here. This Portuguese side can be vulnerable at the back, so we’re backing both teams to score.
- England v Brazil (31/40 with BetVictor) – The Three Lions should be vulnerable here without half of their first team, so they should concede to the Samba stars. We’re backing both teams to score in this one, given how open Brazil tend to be.
