Football Accumulator Tips – 6th to 7th December 2016

There’s only one more round of fixtures left in the group stage of the Champions League. It’s been a thoroughly entertaining five weeks of action so far and we’re expecting much more entertainment this Tuesday and Wednesday. With plenty still to play for, we’ve put together three different accumulators to have you covered whether you fancy an easy winner, an acca with medium risk or a long shot.

Easy Winner – 8/5 (BetVictor)

  • Man City to beat Celtic (3/10) – It’s game over for Celtic who will finish bottom of their group no matter what. They’ll give it a good go at the Etihad but Man City will surely prove to be too strong.
  • Barcelona to beat Borussia Monchengladbach (2/7) – Barcelona have finished top of Group C and should finish off with a comfortable win at home. Gladbach are an exciting team but they are very low in quality compared on Barca.
  • Both teams to score in Legia Warsaw v Sporting Lisbon (4/7) – There is a straight shootout for third place in Group F on Wednesday. Legia need to beat Sporting to win a spot in the Europa League and given that the Polish side have already been involved in some incredibly high scoring games, expect both teams to score in Warsaw.

Medium Risk – 27/2 (Sky Bet)

  • Bayern Munich to draw with Atletico Madrid (14/5) – Atletico Madrid are looking for a clean sweep of six wins in Group D when they take on Bayern on Tuesday. Bayern are not playing brilliantly at the moment but they should be able to avoid defeat against Diego Simeone’s aggressive, difficult side.
  • Under 2.5 goals in Porto v Leicester (10/11) – Leicester have been brilliant in the Champions League but now they’ve already won Group G, there is little incentive for them to go all out for the win against Porto. Expect a fairly drab match on Wednesday.
  • Under 2.5 goals in Tottenham v CSKA Moscow (evens) – Tottenham had already sold out Wembley for their game against CSKA before they were knocked out of the Champions League. Spurs should beat CSKA but don’t expect either side to put in too much effort.

Long Shot – 31/1 (Bet365)

  • Basel and Arsenal to draw (5/2) – Both Arsenal and Basel have to rely on the outcome of the other game in Group A in order to achieve their aims. That could well mean we’re in for a fairly modest encounter in Switzerland.
  • Man City to beat Celtic and both teams to score (11/8) – Celtic will fancy their chances of scoring against Man City. They’ve approached the Champions League with an attacking outlook and while they are likely to lose against Man City, both teams should score along the way.
  • Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund to draw (14/5) – Both Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have been fairly shocking in terms of their defending in the Champions League so far. Those defensive frailties could result in an entertaining game from which Dortmund are good enough to get a point.
