The Premier League can pretty much be divided up into three with rounds of fixtures still to go. At the top are the teams battling for a top four finish, then there are the teams in the middle and then those worried by the threat of relegation. No matter where this weekend’s fixtures take their effect, you can make some profit from the bookies by following along with our three trebles below.
Easy Winner – evens (Sky Bet)
- Man United to beat Bournemouth (1/4) – Bournemouth are getting ever closer to the Premier League trap door. Unfortunately for everybody involved with the club, their position is only going to worsen after their trip to Old Trafford on Saturday.
- Man City to beat Sunderland (30/100) – While Bournemouth may get drawn into the mire, Sunderland are very much bogged down in it. The Black Cats look to have run out of lives and Man City should worsen the mood on Wearside.
- Over 1.5 goals in West Ham v Chelsea (1/4) – West Ham’s EFL Cup victory over Chelsea will give them hope ahead of Monday’s game at the London Stadium. Chelsea are the fair favourites for the match but there should be plenty of goals in the Monday Night Football match.
Medium Risk – 17/2 (BetVictor)
- Over 2.5 goals in West Brom v Crystal Palace (29/20) – Crystal Palace were delighted with their win over Middlesbrough last weekend but there is still a fair amount of desperation around the club. Palace should score at the Hawthorns but they’ll find it tough to stop West Brom from winning.
- Stoke to beat Middlesbrough (evens) – Middlesbrough are really finding it difficult right now. Boro have not won a Premier League match since 17th December and the threat of relegation is only increasing. Stoke need to repay their fans after last weekend’s 4-0 defeat against Tottenham and they should bounce back at home.
- Man City to score over 2.5 goals against Sunderland (37/40) – Time and hope is running out at Sunderland. The Black Cats look doomed and a game against Man City is the last thing they need. City could run riot at the Stadium of Light.
Long Shot – 57/1 (bet365)
- Swansea to beat Burnley to nil (11/5) – Burnley have been awful away from home this season. That’s not good news ahead of their trip against a rejuvenated Swansea team. Paul Clement has got the Swans very well organised and they can beat the Clarets without conceding.
- Southampton to beat Watford and both teams to score (15/4) – Southampton will still be upset about their defeat at Wembley last weekend but they’ve got a real chance to bounce back with a win against Watford. The Hornets should score at home but the Saints have enough to grab all three points.
- Tottenham and Everton to draw (14/5) – Everton are unbeaten in their last nine matches and are fearing nobody at the moment. Spurs are the best side the Toffees have met in 10 games but Ronald Koeman’s men should be able to grab a point at White Hart Lane.
