You don’t get much Premier League action on Tuesday or Wednesday nights so it is with great relish that we approach the upcoming midweek fixtures. Each time there are a raft of fixtures in the top flight the bookies price up thousands of markets. We’ve gone through the options available to bring you three trebles of increasing odds to give you the chance to win no matter how much risk you’re comfortable with.
Easy Winner – evens (Sky Bet)
- Arsenal to beat Watford (1/4) – It’s now no wins in the last seven games for Watford. That’s heaped the pressure on Walter Mazzarri ahead of the Hornets’ game against Arsenal. The Gunners have been excellent at home this season and should win this one comfortably.
- Man United to beat Hull (2/11) – Hull fans will be sick of the sight of Man United. The Tigers had to face United in the semi final of the EFL Cup and now have to travel to Old Trafford again with little hope of a win. United’s strong recent form should continue on Wednesday night.
- Over 1.5 goals in Swansea v Southampton (4/11) – Swansea have a real chance of winning consecutive Premier League games for the first time this season when they host Southampton at home. They’ll have to score more than once however as it’ll be some time before their leaky defence is sorted.
Medium Risk – 21/1 (BetVictor)
- Burnley to beat Leicester to nil (19/5) – Burnley are brilliant when they play at home. That’s bad news for Leicester who are pretty much terrible wherever they play at the moment. The Clarets should enjoy a comfortable win again in front of their own fans.
- Under 2.5 goals in Middlesbrough v West Brom (1/2) – West Brom will turn up to the Riverside with the express aim of making life as difficult as possible for Middlesbrough. Boro are on a torrid run and confidence is low so the Baggies can frustrate the hosts before trying to claim a narrow win.
- Man City to beat West Ham and both teams to score (19/10) – West Ham will have to turn in a better performance against Man City than they did when they met in the FA Cup a few weeks ago. City ran out 5-0 winners that day and while the away side are fair favourites, West Ham should at least find a goal.
Long Shot – 123/1 (Bet365)
- Chelsea to beat Liverpool and both teams to score (9/2) – With Liverpool’s defence in pieces they’ll have to rely on their attacking players. That may not be good enough against Chelsea who can win what should be an entertaining game at Anfield.
- Swansea to beat Southampton and over 2.5 goals (4/1) – Southampton will fancy their chances of beating Swansea but that’s a much more difficult ask with Paul Clement now in charge. The Swans could grab a huge win but only if they score a couple of goals to make up for their defensive problems.
- Stoke and Everton to draw and both teams to score (7/2) – Stoke and Everton are fighting it out to win the league below the top six teams. They’re both capable of some excellent football so this should be a close, but exciting game.
