Football Accumulator Tips -18th & 19th April 2017

We were treated to four engrossing matches in the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals last week. Just one week later and it’s time for the eight teams to do it all again. With a huge prize up for grabs there’s sure to be plenty more twists and turns and we’ve tried to capitalise on them all by producing three trebles of increasing odds for you below.

Easy Winner – 3/2 (Ladbrokes)

  • Real Madrid to qualify against Bayern Munich (2/7) – Real Madrid have one foot in the semi finals thanks to their 2-1 win away to Bayern Munich. With so much Champions League experience, Real surely won’t throw this away.
  • Over 2.5 goals in Barcelona v Juventus (1/2) – Barcelona need another miraculous comeback given their awful result in the first leg against Juventus. They’ll be pushing hard for goals at home but will find it tough to stop Juventus from scoring a crucial away goal.
  • Both teams to score in Monaco v Dortmund (30/100) – Monaco and Dortmund proved they are two of the most exciting teams in Europe with their thrilling first leg in Germany. We’re sure to see something very similar in the return leg with goals aplenty expected.

Medium Risk – 27/2 (BetVictor)

  • Both teams to score in Leicester v Atletico Madrid (20/23) – Leicester have no other choice than to go all out for the win against Atletico Madrid having lost the first leg 1-0. That will surely entice Atletico’s attacking players to exploit the space left so both teams could very well get on the score sheet in a more entertaining game than the first.
  • Over 3.5 goals in Real Madrid v Bayern Munich (11/10) – Real Madrid are the worthy favourites for their home game against Bayern Munich but they know the German side won’t give them a moment’s rest. With such an array of attacking talent the goals should flow at the Bernabeu.
  • Monaco and Dortmund to draw (11/4) – Dortmund are the sort of side to approach any football match without fear. They know just what they’re up against in Monaco but will approach the game in their usual attacking manner. That doesn’t, however, mean they’ll beat this impressive Monaco side and the draw looks well priced at 11/4.

Long Shot – 70/1 (Betfred)

  • Atletico Madrid to beat Leicester and both teams to score (15/4) – Leicester have enough about them to score against Atletico but equally the Spaniards are more than strong enough to get the win and break Leicester hearts.
  • Juventus to beat Barcelona (11/2) – Juventus surely have a great chance to go on and win the Champions League. They can send out a big message about their quality by beating Barcelona at the Camp Nou.
  • Thomas Muller to score against Real Madrid (13/10) – Bayern Munich will need the best from their big game players to have any chance of getting past Real Madrid. When it comes to scoring in the biggest games, few are more reliable than Thomas Muller who can come up trumps for Bayern once again.
