There’s an international break right around the corner, but first we have a huge weekend of Premier League games to enjoy. This Sunday’s double header is the biggest we’ve seen in a while, with four of the top six going head to head. There’s plenty of entertainment elsewhere, with as many as five live matches across the top flight this weekend. While we may have to go two weeks without club football, there’s going to be plenty of drama and talking points to carry us into the international break.
Ahead of this weekend’s top flight action, we’ve run through the matches and picked out our BTTS picks for the weekend’s action. We can see plenty of goals in this round of games, with sides looking to round off October by claiming three vital points. While Man City’s game with Arsenal is shaping up to be the highlight of the weekend, we have picked out a few more games which should see a few goals. Saturday 4th November 2017
- Stoke v Leicester (3/4 with Betfair) – These two sides have shared entertaining 2-2 draws in their previous two meetings at this ground. The Foxes are carrying some awful away form into this trip, but we expect them to get a goal after hitting a couple past Everton last weekend.
- Huddersfield v West Brom (23/20 with Coral) – This may not look like the most entertaining game on paper, but we can see a few goals here. The Baggies managed one clean sheet away to the bottom 10 last season, scoring in nine of those trips. With the Baggies seeing both sides score in three of their last four, we see a lot of value here.
- Newcastle v Bournemouth (4/5 with Betfred) – The Cherries haven’t been able to test top defences this season, but they are more than capable of hurting Newcastle. Meanwhile, the visitors have managed just one clean sheet in their last nine away league games, and none so far this season.
- West Ham v Liverpool (4/6 with Bet365) – Neither of these two defences are looking up to scratch right now. While West Ham are likely to struggle here after their poor start, we can see them exposing this Liverpool defence in front of their home support.
Sunday 5th November 2017
- Man City v Arsenal (8/15 with Betfred) – We expect plenty of goals from Manchester City here, as they’ve got some fantastic form backing them up ahead of this clash. We do expect Arsenal to carve out an opportunity, having averaged 1.9 goals per game so far this season.
- Everton v Watford (5/6 with Ladbrokes) – Watford have scored at least twice in every away game this season, but they’ve conceded an average of almost two goals per game. That should see a high scoring affair here.
