Both Teams To Score (BTTS) Tips – 30th & 31st December 2016 and 1st January 2017

Christmas may have been and gone, but the Premier League still hasn’t finished its 2016 run of fixtures. With just a few days left in the year, we’ve got a full round of Premier League matches to look forward to. What better way is there to enjoy New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day than with tons of top flight football? Plus, this weekend’s offering certainly tops the poor Boxing Day fixtures.

With two of the top four going head to head, there’s obviously a lot to look forward to. Liverpool host Manchester City in the final Premier League game of 2016, before two matches open up 2017. Ahead of those games, it’s certainly worth putting together a both teams to score accumulator, especially seeing as the top flight has been packed with goals so far. We’ve looked ahead to this weekend’s fixtures and picked out our BTTS tips for this round of games.

Friday 30th December 2016

  • Hull v Everton (19/20 with Bet365) – Can Hull finally keep a home clean sheet? It’s hard to see, given that Everton come here on the back of a 2-0 win at Leicester. However, we’re backing the Tigers to put up a fight going forward, and we see them getting a goal here.

Saturday 31st December 2016

  • Burnley v Sunderland (evens with Coral) – Sunderland need to pour forward here to push to get out of the drop zone. However, Burnley have a terrific record at home. They’ve scored in 80% of games in front of their own fans, although it must be said they’ve also conceded in 70%.
  • Leicester v West Ham (8/11 with BetVictor) – Though West Ham come here on a strong run, Leicester will be looking to take advantage of their poor defensive record. West Ham have conceded in 89% on the road, so we can see goals galore in this clash.
  • Swansea v Bournemouth (7/10 with Bet365) – Swansea just can’t stop conceding, while Bournemouth have conceded two goals per game on average away. The Swans are in awful form, but we can still see them getting a goal at home to this poor Cherries defence.
  • Liverpool v Man City (1/2 with Sky Bet) – This weekend’s big game sees two attacking sides going head to head. Neither of these two are that solid at the back, so it’s hard to see the defences coming out on top. We’re backing quite a few goals when these two clash.

Sunday 1st January 2017

  • Watford v Tottenham (evens with Betfred) – Watford have seen a lot of their home games end with both teams scoring. 78% of their games have seen both teams find the net. With Spurs in good scoring form, it’s easy to see goals in this clash.
  • Arsenal v Crystal Palace (10/11 with Betfair) – Arsenal are facing a Palace side who have scored in eight straight away games. The Eagles have also conceded in every away match, so we’re backing both teams to find the net here.
