There were plenty of goals in last week’s Premier League action with the two Merseyside outfits alone conceding a combined nine goals between them.
Everton’s defeat at the hands of Arsenal was enough to see Ronald Koeman lose his job and there will be a couple of managers looking nervous this weekend. None more so than Slaven Bilic, with the West Ham gaffer seeing his side lose 3-0 away at Brighton last Monday.

- Arsenal v Swansea City (10/11 with Betfred) – Arsenal don’t always look fully confident at the back and they could come unstuck in this one. The Gunners played themselves into trouble time and time again last weekend and even though Swansea don’t tend to score many, they could find a way through the home side on Saturday.
- West Bromwich Albion v Manchester City (evens with Betfred) – Manchester City have been blowing sides away this season and there aren’t many teams in the world who look capable of silencing the Citizens front line. However, you wonder whether City will be able to cope with the Baggies’ physical style of play. Goals look likely at the Hawthorns.
- Crystal Palace v West Ham (5/6 with Coral) – Both of these sides could do with a win having made poor starts to the season and it is an important match at Selhurst Park. With both defences looking shaky, there should be plenty of chances at either end.
- Liverpool v Huddersfield Town (6/4 with Bet365) – The both teams to score odds look particularly tasty in this one and both keepers could be busy at Anfield. So far, Liverpool have done well at the back at Anfield. However, that could change this weekend as the Terriers have their tails up having recorded an impressive win over Manchester United last weekend.
- Watford v Stoke City (5/6 with Bet365) – Marco Silva’s Watford side have made a great start to the season and we would back them to carry that on this weekend. The Hornets score plenty of goals and they could cause the visitors lots of problems. That said, Watford don’t always look confident at the back and they have conceded a number as well.
- Chelsea v Bournemouth (8/11 with Betfred) – Chelsea escaped with a 3-2 win over Watford last week, but they can’t keep conceding like they are if they are going to mount a serious title challenge this season. That said, the Blues have so far found a way of outscoring their opposition and we fancy there to be goals in Saturday’s late kick off.

- Leicester City v Everton (4/5 with Betfred) – We round off the weekend with Everton’s trip to Leicester City. Both sides have been poor at the back and there should be plenty of chances in this one. Only Wayne Rooney and Oumar Niasse have scored for the Toffees in the league this season, but they should get an opportunity or two against the Foxes.
