Both Teams To Score (BTTS) Tips – 17th & 18th March 2018

The FA Cup returns to our screens this weekend, playing havoc with the Premier League schedule. Just four league matches have survived this weekend, giving us eight domestic matches from the top flight and cup. However, there is still enough going on to put together a both teams to score accumulator, with plenty of exciting matches across Saturday and Sunday. With the unpredictable nature of the cup, we should see some smaller sides punching above their weight, given the kind of performances the cup seems to inspire.

The limited selection of matches available this week has lead us to pick out five games for our both teams to score accumulator, and we’re confident in each of our BTTS picks. With a good mix of league and cup action and some strong value in there, there’s a few bets worth getting behind among our latest BTTS predictions. Ahead of a St Patrick’s Day weekend packed full of sport, here are our recommendations for the potentially high scoring clashes across English football.

Saturday 17th March 2018

  • Swansea v Tottenham (21/20 with Ladbrokes) – We start with in form Swansea, who have drawn three away games and won three home games in this competition so far. Meanwhile, Tottenham struggled against Rochdale in the last round, as well as against another Welsh side, League Two Newport. While Spurs have a lot of attacking talent, the Swans should score on current form, especially at home.
  • Bournemouth v West Brom (4/5 with Betfair) – West Brom are in real trouble, and they look set for a drop down to the Championship. They should be confident about scoring against a Bournemouth side who have two home clean sheets to their name all season, with both teams scoring in the previous nine matches at the Vitality.
  • Stoke v Everton (4/5 with BetVictor) – Everton’s horrible away record has seen them concede in 87% of their trips, averaging over two goals against them per match. However, the Potters have a poor record of their own, conceding in 80% of their home matches, so we expect each of these two sides to find the net on Saturday.

Sunday 18th March 2018

  • Wigan v Southampton (10/11 with Betfred) – Wigan have dumped out three Premier League sides at home in this competition, including Man City. While Southampton should have a boosted mood following their managerial change, we’re not sure it will be enough here. We can still see the Latics going through, but we expect the Premier League side to grab a goal against third tier opposition on Sunday.
  • Leicester v Chelsea (7/10 with Coral) – Chelsea have showed their fair share of defensive worries over the last few weeks, and they should have some trouble when they visit the King Power Stadium. Leicester have Jamie Vardy, who has racked up plenty of goals in big matches, and the strong form of the Foxes’ at home should see them score against the Blues.
