Both Teams To Score (BTTS) Tips – 14th, 15th and 16th March 2017

There’s a lot of European action to come in midweek, so hopefully you’ve gotten over Barcelona’s incredible win over PSG. While that’s left this week’s games with a lot to live up to, it’s also boosted our hopes of goals in the final batch of Champions League last 16 matches. Seven of the eight teams who played last week scored, and we can see even more than that this week, with all four ties looking closer than most of the first batch.

We’re also hoping for more exciting action in the Europa League, when Manchester United continue their push to win the trophy. The Red Devils are in with a shot of returning to the Champions League by winning this competition. However, they have plenty of rivals, with a lot of high scoring sides left in the competition. We’ve looked through the week’s games in both competitions to pick out our both teams to score tips, which you can see below.

Tuesday 14th March 2017

  • Juventus v Porto (11/10 with Betfair) – Juventus can rotate a little with a two goal lead, while Porto need to pour forward. They might not cause a huge shock, but the Portuguese side can at least go out with an away goal.
  • Leicester v Sevilla (4/7 with BetVictor) – Leicester are high on morale, and we can see them building on that by getting a goal. Sevilla have to score if the Foxes find the net, so this could end up being quite open.

Wednesday 15th March 2017

  • Atletico Madrid v Bayer Leverkusen (8/11 with Betfair) – Atletico are safely through, so they can afford to be a little more open in this game. Bayer know they’re out, so they should storm forward like they did in the first leg. That should lead to another open game, so we’re backing both teams to score.
  • Monaco v Manchester City (4/7 with Ladbrokes) – It’s basically a given for both of these two to score, with Pep Guardiola saying his side have to score, because Monaco will. We’re not disagreeing with the Champions League winner, so we’re backing goals here.

Thursday 16th March 2017

  • Manchester United v Rostov (7/4 with Sky Bet) – Manchester United have a tough fixture schedule, heading back from Stamford Bridge on Monday ahead of this game. We can see Rostov getting a goal, which makes BTTS look very well priced ahead of this game.
  • Anderlecht v APOEL (10/11 with Betfred) – APOEL scored in Bilbao as they knocked out Athletic in the last round. They should find Anderlecht to be an easier place to go, but we can see the hosts finding the net too.
  • Genk v Gent (8/11 with BetVictor) – After these two shared seven goals in the first leg, we should have an exciting tie here. Gent may well struggle to overturn a 5-2 defeat away from home, but these two evenly matched sides should still trade goals even with little on the line.
