Football Accumulator Tips – 1st to 2nd September 2017

We’ve already reached the first international break of the season. National team managers throughout Europe will be keen to get their hands on their players to prepare them for some huge games in World Cup qualifying. With so much action, we’ve picked out or choice of the best bets and combined them into three trebles for you below.

Easy Winner – evens (BetVictor)

  • Scotland/draw double chance against Lithuania (2/11) – Scotland were very upset not to beat England in their last World Cup qualifier but they should bounce back from that disappointment with a positive result against Lithuania.
  • Over 2.5 goals in Malta v England (1/3) – Malta will set out their stall to make life as difficult as possible for England on Friday night but Gareth Southgate’s team will be disappointed if they do not record a very comfortable win away from home.
  • Wales/draw double chance against Austria (2/7) – Five draws have hampered Wales’ chances of making it to Russia next summer. Chris Coleman’s men will be going all out for the win against Austria and even if they fall short they are very unlikely to lose their unbeaten record in Group D.

Medium Risk – 6/1 (Sky Bet)

  • Slovakia to beat Slovenia (evens) – Slovakia lost 1-0 at home to England but their other home games have resulted in comfortable wins over Scotland and Lithuania. Slovenia know this is a huge game but the home side could come away with an important three points.
  • Iceland to beat Finland (19/20) – Finland have already been eliminated and cannot qualify for the World Cup. That will not leave their fans in a good mood when Iceland visit on Saturday. Iceland are still in the running and can capitalise on the poor mood to pick up another important three points.
  • Ireland to beat Georgia (3/4) – Ireland are joint top on 12 points in Group D, alongside Serbia. Things have gone well so far for the Boys in Green but they can get even better with a win over the disappointing Georgia.

Long Shot – 63/1 (Bet365)

  • England to beat Malta 3-0 (7/2) – England know that Malta will sit deep and make it hard for them to score. However, the Three Lions’ quality should shine through and result in a comfortable win. 3-0 won’t embarrass Malta but it will represent a very good evening’s work for England.
  • Poland to beat Denmark and both teams to score (11/2) – Denmark need to make the most of their home games to guarantee second place in Group E. They will come out of the blocks flying against Poland but even a goal will not guarantee a win for the home team against this quality Poland outfit.
  • Wales to beat Austria to nil (12/5) – Wales will feel a little unlucky that they are not in a stronger position in Group D. They have fought hard to ensure that they are unbeaten after six games but their sole win is not a good return. They should double their tally of wins against an Austria team who have been anything but impressive in their six games so far.
