After what has clearly been an overly long international break (especially for those of us who endured both England matches!) the Premier League is back this weekend to liven up our lives. And what better way to enjoy the action than to win a load of money by betting on it?
So feast your eyes on our latest batch of Premier League football accumulator betting tips as we bring you an easy winner, a medium risk acca and one for the brave and/or foolish (and, hopefully, soon-to-be-rich) amongst you.
Easy Winner – 23/10 (Bet365)
- Man City to beat Spurs (4/9) – City beat Spurs with plenty of room to spare last season both home and away, scoring 11 goals to Tottenham’s one. Though Manuel Pellegrini’s men haven’t yet looked unstoppable this term – not least when losing at home to Stoke – we think they will easily have the beating of the north Londoners who only managed one point against the top four sides last term.
- Arsenal to beat Hull (4/11) – Arsenal beat Hull 2-0 and 3-0 in the Premier League last term, and though the Tigers will be out for revenge for their FA Cup final defeat, the attacking talents at Arsene Wenger’s disposal will make this a comfortable home victory.
- West Brom v Man United: over 2.5 goals (7/10) – As sure a bet as you will find this week, backing overs in the Monday night game looks a nailed on certainty and is a nice way to round off our easy winner acca.
Medium Risk – 12/1 (BetVictor)
- Everton v Aston Villa: both teams to score (17/20) – League matches at Goodison this season have averaged an astounding six goals, and though Villa blow hot and cold somewhat, we think they have the players to hit Everton on the break and get at least one goal on the break. In what should be a highly entertaining match, we’d be very surprised if both sides don’t find the net at least once.
- Burnley v West Ham: under 2.5 goals (4/5) – At the other end of the spectrum, winless Burnley are stout at the back but severely lacking up front having scored just 0.33 goals per home match. Although the Hammers have been uncharacteristically expansive of late, we predict a game with few goals here, and probably just the one.
- Newcastle to beat Leicester and both teams to score (31/10) – Perhaps a little risky given Newcastle are yet to post a victory in the Premier League this season, but in recent weeks they have shown the fight and desire which will give them a great chance here. Having said that, the Magpies are far from solid and Leicester are sure to get a goal or two, we just think the home side will just about edge the win.
Long Shot – 39/1 (Sky Bet)
- Crystal Palace v Chelsea: draw (7/2) – League leaders Chelsea struggled against Palace last term, losing 1-0 away and only managing a narrow 2-1 victory at the Bridge. With the majority of Chelsea’s players having been on international duty, we fancy the Eagles will be far fresher coming into this one and backing the home side to nick a point looks good value to us.
- Man City to beat Spurs by three or more goals (11/4) – After a 6-0 home win and 5-1 victory at White Hart Lane last season, backing City to inflict another battering on Tottenham looks a fair shout at nice odds here.
- Southampton to be winning at half time and full time against Sunderland (11/8) – The Saints are still going strong and while the Black Cats have at least got a win on the board, we fancy the home side to dominate this game and complete what could be a very lucrative acca in style.
