The Premier League is back in focus this weekend, although there is the small matter of the EFL Cup final running alongside it. Despite that big game at Wembley, there are still plenty of great matches coming from the top flight, including Man United’s clash with Chelsea on Sunday. Tottenham face a London derby at Crystal Palace, while Leicester take on Stoke at the King Power Stadium, a fixture which tends to see goals.
While last week’s cup action provided plenty of shocks, we’re hoping that this round of Premier League games gives us plenty of goals. There are a few high scoring matches in prospect, and a few where you might not necessary see goals. However, we’ve gone through each of the weekend’s top flight matches to bring you our latest both teams to score tips. We’ve found some great value BTTS picks going in to Saturday and Sunday, and you can see all of those – along with our reasoning behind them – below.
Saturday 24th February 2018
- Leicester v Stoke (4/5 with Coral) – Leicester and Stoke have played out some high scoring clashes of late, including a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture. With Stoke improving, we see them scoring at the King Power this week, while Leicester have found the net in 85% of their home matches.
- Burnley v Southampton (21/20 with BetVictor) – Burnley are in awful form heading in to this game. They’ve not won in 11 matches in all competitions, while Southampton are fresh from a 2-1 win at West Brom. The Saints’ lack of clean sheets has us backing them to concede, but they’ve improved enough going forward to back them to score here.
- West Brom v Huddersfield (5/4 with Ladbrokes) – West Brom are bottom of the table, having shipped over a goal per game at home. Their defence fell apart last season, conceding in 84% of their games. Things are going in the same direction for them this time around, so we are backing them to concede. Given that Huddersfield have conceded in their previous 10 away, we’re going for BTTS in this one.
- Watford v Everton (4/5 with Betfair) – Everton have the fourth worst away record in the top flight, shipping over two goals per game. However, Watford have conceded 26 times in 13 home matches, so backing against a clean sheet seems like value here.
Sunday 25th February 2018
- Crystal Palace v Tottenham (10/11 with Betfred) – Palace have found the net in nine of their last 10 home league games, which has seen their form peak. Meanwhile, Spurs have scored in their last 15 league games, so we’re expecting goals at Selhurst Park this weekend.
- Man United v Chelsea (20/23 with Coral) – Chelsea have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last nine trips to top six opposition, but they’ve averaged just shy of two goals per game on their travels this term so both teams to score looks big here.
