Both Teams To Score (BTTS) Tips – 17th & 18th October 2017

With the international sides having had their chance to battle it out on the continent, it is now the turn of the club sides, and what a week of football it promises to be.

Two games stand out on the fixture list for this week’s round of Champions League fixtures and they are Tottenham’s trip to Real Madrid and Manchester City’s match with Napoli. Both should be great games for the neutrals and it is little surprise to see both feature on our both teams to score list.

Tuesday 17th October 2017

  • Spartak Moscow v Sevilla (7/10 with Bet365) – Sevilla are a side with plenty of quality, but they sometimes struggle on the road. You would back them to score against Spartak, but the Russians are a gritty side, as Liverpool know all too well, so BTTS looks on the cards.
  • RB Leipzig v FC Porto (8/11 with Betfair) – Leipzig haven’t won many fans in Germany thanks to their financial backing, but neutrals could do a lot worse than watch this team. They are great going forwards and whilst Porto are no mugs, we’re backing them to get a win with BTTS.
  • Monaco v Besiktas (3/4 with Betfair) – Besiktas caused quite the stir with their social media over the summer but they have backed it up with results on the pitch. We can’t see them keeping out Monaco, but no one has stopped the Turkish side yet in the Champions League.
  • Manchester City v Napoli (1/2 with Betfair) – This game has got goals written all over it and both keepers can expect to be in for a busy night. Pep Guardiola has found a formation which fits all of his top attacking players in and it is certainly reaping dividends. However, Napoli have hit the back of the net in their last six matches across all competitions.
  • Maribor v Liverpool (23/20 with Coral) – Maribor aren’t exactly a household name across Europe, but thanks to Liverpool’s woeful defence, the Slovenian champions may well think they have a whiff of a chance. The Reds should have no problem scoring, but with clean sheets few and far between, no game is an easy one for Jürgen Klopp’s side.

Wednesday 18th October 2017

  • Real Madrid v Tottenham Hotspur (4/7 with Coral) – Real Madrid are always likely to score thanks to their top notch strike force. However, Spurs have been playing well lately and in Harry Kane, they have a striker in the form of his life. Mauricio Pochettino’s side did well to get a win over Dortmund, a win at the Bernabeu would be one step further, but both teams to score looks likely.
  • Chelsea v Roma (4/5 with Coral) – Despite missing Alvaro Morata through a hamstring injury, most people would pick Chelsea to score at Stamford Bridge. However, AS Roma are no mugs and they are banging in the goals having scored 14 in their last five matches in all competitions.
