Domestic football returns after the first international break of the season for game week number four. All teams are in action over the three days, with the highlight fixture being the early kick off on Saturday as Arsenal host reigning champions Manchester City.
So far 16 of the 30 Premier League games this season have ended with both teams scoring and this is certainly a market where there is money to be made.

Saturday 13th September 2014
- Arsenal v Manchester City (3/5 with BetVictor) – Arsenal, who are yet to keep a clean sheet, come up against a Manchester City side looking to bounce back from their home defeat against Stoke. With the attacking talents on show, including Arsenal new boys Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck and fit again City striker Sergio Aguero, we expect both teams to score in this one, especially after last season’s games both ending this way, including a 6-3 win at home for the Citizens.
- Southampton v Newcastle (10/11 with Coral) – Last time out Newcastle showed in a 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace that they can score goals but may also be liable to conceding them. Meanwhile two of Southampton’s opening games have seen both teams score and they have spent over £30m on attacking talent over the summer, whilst Newcastle have also strengthened their attack with French duo Emanuel Riviere and Remy Cabella.
- Liverpool v Aston Villa (11/10 with Bet365) – Liverpool have struggled against the Villains in recent years, so this will not be an easy fixture for the Reds especially with Villa being one of three unbeaten teams in the league so far. With three of Liverpool’s expected back four brought in this summer, they may take further time to adjust, whilst they also have some injury concerns at the back. They do, however, look a team always likely to score with Raheem Sterling starting the season in electric form for club and country, so this has to be one of our BTTS tips.
- Sunderland v Tottenham (31/40 with BetVictor)Both games last season between these two sides ended with both teams scoring and we can see this game making it three out of three. Sunderland are yet to keep a clean sheet this season and come up against a Spurs side playing decent football under new manager Mauricio Pochettino. It also seems that Gus Poyet’s side raise their game against big teams and with star striker Steven Fletcher fit again after an injury hit season last year we expect them to cause problems for the Spurs defence.

- Hull v West Ham (23/20 with Coral) – The charged atmosphere of Monday night games under the floodlights has been conducive to BTTS betting in recent times and we expect the trend to continue. Both clubs have invested heavily in their attacks in the summer transfer window; West Ham signed World Cup Star Enner Valencia amongst others whilst Hull purchased Abel Hernandez to replace Shane Long. Both these players look likely to start so will be looking to impress with goals. West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is also under pressure to play more attractive football which may leave spaces at the back and both to score looks worth a punt at huge odds here.
